Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get started with Coral Tree Kids?
Simply fill out our intake form on the Book an Initial Consult page. Once we receive your form, you'll have the option to book a complimentary discovery call with your preferred clinician before committing to an initial appointment — so you can make sure it feels like the right fit.
If you'd prefer to skip the discovery call and go straight to booking, just let us know on the form and we'll be in touch to schedule your initial consult directly.
Do I need a referral?
You don't need a referral to access most of our allied health services — you can self-refer directly through our intake form.
A GP referral is required if you'd like to access Medicare rebates (e.g. via a Chronic Disease Management Plan or Mental Health Treatment Plan). If you're unsure, our team can guide you when you get in touch.
What ages do you see?
We are a paediatric clinic, so our services are focused on children and young people. Please reach out to us at admin@coraltreekids.com.au if you'd like to discuss whether we're the right fit for your child's age and needs.
How long is the waitlist?
We do not currently have a waitlist, with same-week appointments available across most services (subject to change). We'd love to hear from you — reach out and we can let you know the current availability for the service you're looking for.
What happens at the first appointment?
Your initial appointment is a chance for the clinician to get to know your child and your family. We'll talk through your concerns, your child's background and strengths, and what you're hoping to achieve. From there, the clinician will recommend a plan for ongoing support.

Some initial appointments look different depending on the service, we will let you know what to expect. If you have concerns, you are more then welcome to book in a discovery call to have a quick chat with your service provider prior to the initial appointment.
